**Pentecost is the season when we focus on the activity of the Spirit, the foundation of the Church’s mission in our world. The Gospel readings, mostly following Mark, emphasize the teaching of Jesus and the day-to-day life of the Christian disciple. Special days occur in the season: the feasts of the Trinity, the Transfiguration and All Saints being among them. The color of the season is green, to represent growth and renewal.
